Just like any other internet-connected device, network cameras can be vulnerable to attack. AXIS Q3527-LVE includes enhanced security features to prevent unauthorized access. Signed firmware and secure boot guarantees that the firmware hasn't been altered and ensures only authorized firmware is installed. Furthermore, if needed secure boot guarantees that the camera is completely clean from possible malware after a factory default.
AXIS Q3527-LVE includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. It ensures secure storage of all cryptographic keys and certificates so that they remain safe even in the event of a security breach.

AXIS Q3527-LVE is based on AXIS Q3517-LVE which ensures the best video quality possible. It offers 5-megapixel resolution at full frame rate (up to 30 fps) with Forensic WDR. That means it delivers excellent detail - even of moving objects and people - as well as of scenes with both extremely bright and extremely dark areas. Thanks to Lightfinder, you also get sharp, color images in low light. OptimizedIR ensures excellent low-noise video even in complete darkness. Furthermore, Zipstream preserves important details in full image quality, while reducing storage and bandwidth by 50% or more.
